Getting to know Hogan Lovells

More than a decade ago, I responded to an advertisement in The Washington Post for a HelpDesk Supervisor. Upon completion of my first interview, I knew Hogan Lovells (then Hogan & Hartson) was a good fit for me. The interview process was professional, informational, and warm. The Human Resources staff and the hiring managers immediately made me feel like part of the Hogan Lovells family. Also, there was opportunity to grow within the organization, which was very important to me.

I continue to appreciate the firm’s warm and inviting culture. There is an emphasis on health and wellness, and also on community involvement. As part of Hogan Lovells’ Citizenship program, I volunteered to serve lunch at a local organization called So Others Might Eat. It was one of the most rewarding and heart-warming experiences of my life.

Hogan Lovells also regularly provides on-site activities for our enrichment, which have included lunch-hour dance lessons, chair messages, financial and wellness workshops, and cultural events

Experience

Customer service is important at Hogan Lovells. The quality of service and support that my team provides allows the lawyers and staff to perform their daily tasks and projects more efficiently and therefore better serve our clients. I take a lot of pride in this ethos.

People

Several years ago, I traveled to Beijing for work. During that time, I was afforded the opportunity to meet my international colleagues. What an amazing opportunity to bring two cultures together for one common goal of providing technical/customer support to Hogan Lovells staff. As a result of my trip to China, I was featured on the cover of an issue of Computer World magazine.
